Acceptable Use and Abuse Policy

1. Prohibited use

Domains registered through us must not be used for phishing, malware or botnet command and control, pharming or other DNS abuse, fraud, spam that distributes abuse, intellectual property infringement, sanctions evasion, or any activity unlawful in the UAE or in the registry's jurisdiction.

2. How to report abuse

Email hello@buyadomain.ae with the domain name, the type of abuse, the URLs or IP addresses concerned, timestamps with timezone, and any evidence such as headers, logs or screenshots.

3. What happens next

We acknowledge abuse reports within one business day and assess them promptly. Confirmed, high-harm abuse such as phishing or malware is actioned as a priority.

We may forward a report and its evidence to Openprovider as sponsoring registrar, to the registry, or to a competent authority.

4. Possible action

Depending on severity we may contact the registrant, require remediation, suspend DNS resolution, lock the domain, or suspend the domain. We keep a record of the report and the action taken.

5. Not an abuse matter

Trademark or ownership disputes are handled under the UDRP or the .ae dispute rules, not by the abuse team. Billing and service complaints also go to hello@buyadomain.ae.
