Refund and Cancellation Policy

Domains are issued by registries in real time, which limits when a refund is possible. This policy sets out exactly what applies.
1. Completed registrations
Once a registration, renewal or restore has been processed by the registry it cannot be reversed and is non-refundable, except where mandatory UAE consumer law requires otherwise.
2. Failed registrations
If we charge you and the registration fails at the registry, the full amount is refunded automatically to the original payment method, normally within 5–10 business days.
3. Duplicate or incorrect charges
Contact hello@buyadomain.ae with the order number. Verified duplicate charges are refunded in full to the original payment method.
4. Typos in the domain name
A domain is registered exactly as ordered. We cannot refund or change a name because of a typo, since the registry has already issued it.
5. Cancellation of auto-renew
You can switch auto-renew off at any time before the renewal is charged. Once a renewal has been processed it falls under section 1.
6. VAT
Refunds include any VAT charged on the original transaction and are issued with a credit note.
BuyADomain.ae is a domain name reseller operated in the UAE under trade licence no. 47033817. Domain registrations are supplied through Hosting Concepts B.V., trading as Openprovider, which acts as the sponsoring registrar. Openprovider is ICANN-accredited for generic top-level domains and .aeDA-accredited for .ae domains. BuyADomain.ae is not an ICANN- or .aeDA-accredited registrar.
