Domain Name Registration Agreement

1. Parties and roles

This agreement is between you (the registrant) and BuyADomain.ae, operated in UAE with trade licence no. 47033817.

BuyADomain.ae is a reseller and customer service provider. Hosting Concepts B.V., trading as Openprovider, is the sponsoring registrar and is ICANN-accredited for generic top-level domains and .aeDA-accredited for .ae. The registry operator of each extension is responsible for that top-level domain.

You are registered as the domain holder using the information you provide, and you retain control of the domain subject to the applicable registrar, registry and dispute policies.

2. Registrant obligations

You must provide accurate, complete and current registrant contact details, and keep them up to date. Registries may suspend, cancel or transfer a domain registered with false or invalid data.

You confirm that you are authorised to register the domain and that the registration does not infringe the rights of a third party.

3. Registration, term and activation

A registration is only complete once the registry confirms it. Until then, your payment is an order and not a guarantee of the name.

If a registration fails at the registry, the full amount is refunded to the original payment method.

4. Prices, renewal and auto-renew

Registration and renewal prices are shown separately before payment and are not necessarily the same. Renewal is charged at the price applicable at the time of renewal; prices may change.

Auto-renew is a separate setting you control in your domain panel. It is never enabled as a condition of purchase.

5. Registry, dispute and abuse policies

Your registration is subject to the applicable registry policies, the ICANN Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP), the Uniform Rapid Suspension system (URS) where applicable, the .ae dispute rules for .ae domains, the sponsoring registrar's registrant agreement and our Acceptable Use and Abuse Policy.

We may suspend or lock a domain where required by a registry, registrar, court order or competent authority, or where the domain is used for abuse.

6. Transfers and change of registrant

Registry-mandated transfer locks apply after registration and after certain contact changes. Change of registrant may require confirmation from both the current and the new registrant, using the Designated Agent process operated by the sponsoring registrar in line with its current agreement.

We do not charge for outbound transfers or for the release of an auth code.

7. Refunds

Successful registration, renewal and restoration are non-refundable, except where mandatory UAE consumer law requires otherwise. See the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

8. Registrar information block

Registrar legal name: Hosting Concepts B.V.. Trading name: Openprovider. Role: sponsoring/accredited registrar.

Openprovider is ICANN-accredited for the relevant gTLDs and .aeDA-accredited for .ae. BuyADomain.ae is not an accredited registrar and does not contract on behalf of the registrar.

9. Liability and governing law

Our liability is limited to the amounts you paid for the affected domain in the preceding twelve months, except where liability cannot be limited by law.

This agreement is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applicable in Ras Al Khaimah.
