WHOIS/RDAP and Domain Privacy Information

Version 1.0 · Effective 2026-08-26 · English

Domain registration data is partly public. This page explains what is visible and what is protected.

1. What is published

Registries and registrars publish a limited public record for each domain, typically the domain name, status, creation and expiry dates, nameservers and the sponsoring registrar. Personal contact details of individual registrants are normally redacted in public WHOIS/RDAP for gTLDs.

2. .ae domains

The .aeDA registry sets its own publication rules for .ae. Some organisation-level details may be shown publicly.

3. Accuracy

You are responsible for keeping registrant data accurate. Registries and the registrar may verify data and may suspend a domain when verification fails or a request is ignored.

4. Disclosure requests

Redacted data may be disclosed to parties with a legitimate legal basis, for example rights holders, law enforcement or a competent authority, in line with registry and registrar policy.

5. Lookups

You can look up any domain through the registry's RDAP service or through the sponsoring registrar's public lookup.

BuyADomain.ae is a domain name reseller operated in the UAE under trade licence no. 47033817. Domain registrations are supplied through Hosting Concepts B.V., trading as Openprovider, which acts as the sponsoring registrar. Openprovider is ICANN-accredited for generic top-level domains and .aeDA-accredited for .ae domains. BuyADomain.ae is not an ICANN- or .aeDA-accredited registrar.
